I wore this dress one time in New York. Specifically on a sightseeing trip to the Statue of Liberty and then Coney Island. I had a concussion on this trip from falling down outside a pizza parlor in Seattle, so I am surprised I remember any of the details. This is a synthetic dress with an empire waist and zips up the side. Spaghetti straps are adjustable.
I wore this dress once to work with a black cardigan and elbow length fingerless gloves donning skulls. It’s very lightweight at 100% polyester. This dress has an elastic gather at the waist, adjustable spaghetti straps with ruffle detail around the right shoulder and down the length of the dress, which is slightly above the knee or mid thigh depending on your build. The animal print looks great alone or peeking though a black cardigan or v-neck. I will throw in that little Banana Republic top in the photo for free.
I love this dress! It’s classic Betsey Johnson. It’s never been worn and still has the tags. Eggplant colored velvet, with corseted back, this dress has a full ruffled skirt of tulle and ribbon. The bust is intricately detailed with sequin forming a bow shape. It zips up the side. I bought this after I saw a photo of Betsey wearing it with a t-shirt (photo 4), so I also bought the t-shirt. The shirt says “B.J. Rocks Tour.” I’ll throw the Betsey shirt (size medium) in for free if you have the balls to wear it. Betsey Johnson runs true to size. I bought it for $550.00 dollars and and selling at a steal for $250.
