I wore this LBD on a date once to the Off Jackson Theater to see a comedy show, then out for drinks at Sun Liquor. This was with the same dude that dumped me in Canada! The scallop detail down the side gives this dress a lot of motion. Shimmy shake though the holiday season with this as part of your party going wardrobe. This dress has adjustable spaghetti straps, and zips up the back. My display dress form is a size medium so it’s shown only partially zipped. 97% Polyester 3% Spandex with lining of 97% Polyester 3% Spandex.
I wore this dress to be in my sister’s wedding. It’s 100% silk and fully lined with 100% Acetate. It has a plunging neckline and zips up the back. Side view doesn’t do it justice, but trust me, this dress can accommodate your girls. You don’t have to be a bridesmaid to wear this. I’ve thought of wearing it to a winter party with the fur collar shown, and if you want this dress, I’ll throw that collar in for nothing.
I wore this cocktail dress once for New Years Eve in Vancouver circa 2010. This dress is strapless, lined and has a full ruffled skirt at the waist. It’s so cute with a floral pattern in fall colors. The fabric is black with interwoven metallic golds and coppers throughout. There is a big bow at the bust-line, and this dress zips up the back. My display dress form is a size medium, so it’s shown only partially zipped. Despite how amazing I looked in this dress, my then boyfriend dumped me in Canada and it was the longest trip through customs EVER. I never want to see this dress again but I know it will look amazing on you. Give it new life!
I wore this dress once to a company Christmas party. Once! The Canada boyfriend spotted me in the window of the bar as he was on his way to the 5th avenue theater, and came back later to collect me. My coworkers thought he was my gay bff! Alas no. Dumping ensued about two weeks later. It’s a blue silk (or satin-like) material with intricate lace overlay in black. This dress zips up the back all the way to the top, but is shown partially zipped because my display dress form is a size medium, and this dress is a size 4. There’s a little detachable halter-like spaghetti strap that that can be worn with it. I have the original tags and extra button for this one.
I love this dress! It’s classic Betsey Johnson. It’s never been worn and still has the tags. Eggplant colored velvet, with corseted back, this dress has a full ruffled skirt of tulle and ribbon. The bust is intricately detailed with sequin forming a bow shape. It zips up the side. I bought this after I saw a photo of Betsey wearing it with a t-shirt (photo 4), so I also bought the t-shirt. The shirt says “B.J. Rocks Tour.” I’ll throw the Betsey shirt (size medium) in for free if you have the balls to wear it. Betsey Johnson runs true to size. I bought it for $550.00 dollars and and selling at a steal for $250.
